Neuschwanstein and Linderhof Palace Full-Day Tour from Munich

On this full-day private sightseeing tour of Munich to the castles Neuschwanstein and Linderhof in a Mercedes Benz luxury van for 2 to 6 people, you can explore the Bavarian Alpine Foreland and the royal castles at your own pace with a local private driver guide, while being accompanied by your personal driver guide throughout the day, who will tell you all about the historical background and Bavarian history.

Your personal tour guide will take care of all your needs and make restaurant recommendations and reservations for you.

Our day trip takes us from the center of Munich on the A95 motorway towards Garmisch Partenkirchen. We leave the motorway at Murnau and take the scenic country road through the Bavarian Alpine Foreland via Bad Kohlgrub, Wildsteig, Wieskirche and Steingaden to Schwangau, where the Bavarian royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau are located.

From here, our driver guide and tour guide will take the lead. Depending on the weather and the traffic, we will first go to the Marienbrücke and then to the castle. At this POI (Points of Interest) you can take great photos and the guide will also be happy to take a photo of the group. After that, it's back to the valley by horse-drawn carriage or on foot.

Optionally, a combination ticket can also be booked to include a visit to Hohenschwangau Castle.
